This is basically a 2014 spec laptop on a stand – Apple have not made a decent desktop since the 2010 Mac pro

I hate how people say iMacs are overpriced. PCs cost just as much after you have bought the computer, the monitor and all of the accessories (keyboard and mouse). People, stop hating on Apple, they make brilliant computers and they look so much nicer than PCs too!

8 GB of RAM for the base model? I love Apple and all, but this is built for film editors. I need 16 GB at least! I know you can upgrade but still

My college has some shitty 2013 core i3 sandy bridge imac. It ain't all that. Not the hyped up lightning fast computer every one says it is, although, it looked… "modern" and had I think a slot loading cool looking cd drive, I prefer my £160 dell.

Still have my 2010 iMac 21.5 upgraded to 8g ram and it still runs great.. One problem I had is that ever since I upgraded to el captain it goes into kernel panic.. Anyone know how to fix that? I have to reinstall the new os all over again every time it turns off

Damn.. $1500 for this is pretty reasonable.. Considering a good 4K display cost about $700-800, but this has a built in computer and comes with a very nice keyboard and mouse.
