The current laptop I have now isn't a gaming laptop, but I can run CS:GO at max, 170 fps (Intel i3 Core Processor with Integrated Graphics) and I can run Minecraft (with optifine) max 60fps. I at all, cannot run GTA V and ATS is slow but I mean, I won't complain since I got this laptop 4 years ago, not knowing about gaming laptops. I found the K501UX on Amazon for around $700 but I don't wanna abandon the laptop I have now because I feel bad

Hey +VeryTraumatic, quick question. I have been looking for a laptop that's relatively cheap and can still game (like the one in this video). Would this laptop be able to run Rome 2 Total War smoothly without lowering the graphics settings too much?

Battlefield 4… Try turning off Multi Core Threading… use it as a quad-core with hyperthreading disabled. you will see much better performance for gaming. as not many games are optimized for 8 core processing. quad core is optimal. i believe same results will occur for GTA 5
