Recently I’ve been wanting to upgrade my home theater system to bring that movie going experience to my living room, and Enclave just released the world’s first THX-Certified Wireless home theater system called the CineHome Pro, and I’m going to show you the unboxing & setup of it and give you my initial first impressions of the features & quality.

The CineHome Pro CineHub edition is currently around $1500 and is one of two wireless 5.1 surround sound home theater systems by Enclave (the other called CineHome II which is around $1000). The reason I jumped at getting this is because for the past 4 years I’ve been using just a Bose sound bar and subwoofer on my living room TV, and I’ve been itching for something the sound bar doesn’t offer: real surround sound. The CineHome Pro seems to check all the boxes I’m looking for in a home theater system: true 5.1 surround sound that is wireless + a quick plug & play setup.

When you open the box you’ll find two boxes that contain 7 power cables for the speakers and subwoofer, an owner’s manual, a quick start guide, some gloves to prevent fingerprints, the CineHub transmitter, and an HDMI cable. The 5 main speakers and 1 subwoofer are next. This system does not come with a remote. It’s actually controlled by your existing TV remote or through the Enclave app.

The Center speaker along with the Front Left and Right speakers are all the same size, around 5 x 3 x 24″. The Rear Left and Right speakers are around 5 x 3 x 16″. The Subwoofer is around 14 x 12 x 19″ and weighs nearly 27 lbs. The CineHub transmitter is small & lightweight and equipped with eARC, ARC, and Optical connections along with a 3.5mm AUX port and built-in Bluetooth 5.0

These are good size speakers, and the build quality & design are top notch. I think the best feature is that this CineHome Pro system is the world’s first WiSA compatible THX Certified system which means a product meets high quality, performance, and consistency standards while WiSA (Wireless Speaker & Audio) is an association that defines standards for high-resolution wireless multi-channel audio. The result of WiSA technology is audio transmission with incredibly low latency and synchronization between the speakers of less than one microsecond which is amazing because the fear of latency is probably the main reason why some people are afraid to go completely wireless. The system also operates on its own dedicated wireless network at a different frequency than a typical home Wi-Fi network so this safeguards the system from latency, lag, or interference from common wireless devices.

A huge benefit of an Enclave system is that it can be set up in minutes with just a single HDMI cable. First, place your speakers in the desired locations. Next, connect the CineHub to your TV’s main HDMI port, then power on all the speakers & subwoofer, then power on the CineHub. Use the free Enclave app to finalize the setup. The app should automatically detect the system. From here you can power the system on or off, adjust the volume, and see what which audio mode it’s currently on which it does support Dolby, PCM, and DTS. Although this doesn’t have automatic calibration, it’s easy to go into the settings and specify how far away your speakers and subwoofer are from your favorite spot on the couch. Overall this was a very quick and simple setup.

The CineHome Pro system sounds amazing. It’s able to deliver 24-bit high res audio from 11 Class-D amplifiers, 14 custom-designed drivers, and the 10″ subwoofer. It definitely outshined my old sound bar by a mile. It’s a much better cinematic experience compared to our old setup. The audio filled the entire room, the ambience felt very real, and the bass was strong. There were no lags or skips in the audio. Streaming Spotify over Bluetooth works great, and I like that you can set the speakers to Whole Room Stereo mode which plays the audio though all speakers simultaneously. This system also worked great while streaming Netflix from my smart TV along with streaming YouTube from my Chromecast.

If you’re looking for a great wireless home theater system with THX certification and is easy to set up, you can’t go wrong with the Enclave CineHome Pro. If your budget is a little smaller but you still want true 5.1 wireless surround sound then check out the CineHome II.

I never thought about it, but the fact that you need power outlets where you want the speakers really does negate the "wireless" aspect a lot.

My husband hates going to theaters because it is so expensive, we have two huge TVs in our house and we just do not need to go out and pay for the theater experience when so many movies come to the apps we already pay for so quickly. I recently told my husband I wanted a surround sound system for the living room where our largest tv is so I can enjoy my favorite movies and shows even better and be that much closer to the real theater experience. This is the first video I'm watching in my research, so I'll definitely be saving this to a playlist while I do my research

Okay maybe dumb question, but if you have to plug this system in via an HDMI port, how does the TV access it when you're using HDMI 2 to play your PS4/Switch/XBox/whatever?

Thanks for the review, but unfortunately these are NOT "wireless" speakers. I know, this is not your fault… all the companies call their similar home theater sets like that, but this is very very misleading.

A "wireless" system should be 100% free of any wires. What a shame that there are only a few (JBL Bar 5.1 & 9.1 only?) home theater systems with battery powered satellite speakers…

If you know some more of those types, please let me know!

Bought this system 3 weeks ago. Impressed with the packaging and quick delivery. That's about it. Nothing but trouble trying to get all speakers connected to hub. Over 20 emails to support. They were very quick to respond. Got a different solution with each person I talked to. Mainly they say it's interference with DFS on my router. I have Spectrum in the DFW area in Texas. Spectrum has their routers pretty much locked where you can make few adjustments. Called their support and they said they couldn't turn DFS off either. Enclave sent me a new hub in case that was the issue. Worked OK for 1 day then back to connection issues. So I bought a Linksys router from Amazon. Followed all Enclaves' instructions on rebooting their hub. Router is sold with DFS turned off so I hoped that would fix everything. It's better but I still have to turn the system off and on several times using the phone app before all speakers are on. It does sound good when it's all working but I don't really hear anything super special. It's loud. It does now come with a remote. Didn't used to and they got complaints about that. But you have to use the phone app to make any adjustments and see what format it's in and if you're missing a speaker. Very limited on audio formats. Says you can get DTS. I found out that's only if you have a newer tv that puts DTS thru eARC. My LG OLED65E7P supports DTS but doesn't pass it thru eARC. So NO DTS for me. Very few tvs do this. Google it to find out which do.
I had high hopes for this system but have been disappointed in there's no adjustments for bass or treble. Voices sometimes sound a bit muffled.
Support has been excellent but have been unable to make it all work the way I think a $1500. system should. I would say it's worth the price if it was $500. less. Think it's way overpriced at $1500.00!!

There are problems that Andy didn't mention. Both CineHome Pro and CineHome II do not support 4K / HDR. This means if you have a PS5 or PS4 Pro, you can't play 4K. The CineHub is very very limited. The second issue is that this will have a lot of connection issues with Bluetooth, and if you live in an apartment this will affect other Bluetooth devices due to high range. The SONOS system is $200 more and seems to have a better ARC / eARC system overall. I have the CineHome II, and it is a great audio system, but the limitations of the product make me want to move to another platform.

3:15 is not true. It operates on normal wifi wireless 5GHz spectrum. UNII-2A, 2B, 2C etc… It can definitely interfere with every day wifi.

    "Good size speakers"
I have to disagree here. 3" wide speakers means tiny drivers. I prefer bigger drivers for a fuller, more balanced sound personally. But I realize that the speakers I consider good would cost a factor more then these.
Also, having THX (or Dolby) certification hardly guarantees good sound. My speakers are not certified, but sound significantly better then your average surround system. They make my couch vibrate without a separate sub woofer.
