Is it okay to put the ust projector on the center channel? I have not been able to find a tv console to fits my r504c in the shelf, so I decided to stack the ust (l5g Hisense) that I am planning to buy on my speaker. However, as the arrangement doesnt look that nice, and I was not sure whether stacking is a good idea (extra weight on the speaker, and vibration on the image from speaker). I have been hesitant to move to a ust.
Any suggestions or advice is highly appreciated. Even if you can suggest a console to accommodate the speaker, that would also be very helpful.

WOW! I'm SUPER impressed with the in-depth information and the excellent production. This actually helped me decide to NOT set up a projection TV because it's WAY more involved (and pricey) for me! Thank you, Chris, for taking what had to be LOTS of time to "construct" this amazing production from beginning to end! I'm seriously impressed!

Just found this channel. Great stuff! Question though: why use a 1.3 gain screen when you have a dark room and bright projector?

Your videos are awesome! Quick question, I just purchased the new LG ultra short throw and I’m looking at screens. Our theater is going to be in our bonus room where our kids play a lot, are these screen super fragile? I noticed you have to wear gloves to put them together. I’m worried they could get hit by a ball or something. If you think that would mess them up, I think I’m going to get a retractable one. Thank you!

In 40 years kids will be laughing at the fact that we actually used screens and projectors to watch something. It will look to them like the black and white TV FROM the 50s looks to us now.

I am looking for a projector and screen for work presentation but then will use at home afterwards. I found this video very helpful but would like your opinion on what I should get. I see you like elite screens so I was thinking of their 100' tripod or hyz screen which frees up another $100 for the projector, possibly going to the yard screen 120' model. For projectors I've looked at epson EX9240, and cinnema 2250, optoma HD39Hdr or the 1080hdr and lastly viewsonic PX 701-4k. All of these seem to be well reviewed from videos I watched and read about.

What do you recommend for a projector screen for a short throw projector set in a museum setting with white walls and overhead light sources in the vicinity? The Elite screen you use is very costly. Are there other cheaper options?

I tried to find all over the internet for nuances in the Projector screen from Elite screens and now I think this would be the best place to ask this question. I am going to install Ultra short throw projector (specifically Optoma CinemaX P2 Smart 4K HDR UHD Laser); it's 3000 lumen. I don't have Ceiling light to be bothered about but I have a South-facing bright sunlight light entering window (which I don't want to completely black-out, but will use blind and curtain) which is located on the right side of my projector and a table lamp about (at a height of 1.3m) just beside the sitting area.

For this specific configuration, do I need – (1) Elite Screens Aeon CLR 3 Ceiling Ambient Light Rejecting Projector Screen, AR123H-CLR3 OR
    (2) Elite Screens Aeon Series Matte Grey AR120H2, Projector Screen with (2a) CineGrey Material OR (2b) CineWhite UHD-B

Thank you for the superb video and thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Stretched two layers of thick fabric across some plywood and stapled it. Then I painted it with drywall primer paint. Completely matte finish that's white and smooth. Works fine and cost me maybe a hundred bucks.
