    Safety first. Make sure your burners are off (electricity can kill you if a wet sponge goes far enough) and cold (don't burn your hands).

    will the scrub side of the sponge not scratch the stove top? and what commercial cleaners can i use without removing paint its a new stove/ oven and i dont want to mess it up
