Dolby Atmos House Theater Prewire

Dolby Atmos House Theater Prewire

In this video I get some ceiling speakers wired in place so I am all set for the new Dolby Atmos surround sound format in my home theater. I also ran some wires for entrance peak speakers.

they are definately NOT the recommended speaker positions as youve said. 1. dolby doesnt recommend using bipolar speakers and 2. your rear overhead speakers seems way too close to the rear speakers.3. The rear speakers should be EAR LEVEL. but goodluck. hope it sounds good as its suppose too

Hey Jeff, good informative video, thanks for posting. Well, my home theater is STILL under construction, it seems like its taking me forever sometimes! I've already bought a nice Marantz, sadly it doesn't have Atmos. Ugh… It's pretty irritating when the components develop faster than you can complete your build. (in my case) I may have to pass on this, as much as I'd like it. I'm looking at an upgrade to a Marantz SR7009, but probably cannot justify, since my previously bought new one hasn't even seen any use yet. So, that's on the burner. Your theater room is looking good man.  8)   I also have my concession area finished, and our theater seats, (which are same as yours I think we said) are working out fantastic. Thanks again!   …   JM
