I got my Garmin Vivoactive in 2017. Neve have a problem. Band are perfect, maybe the band or strip looks cheap but is not. I never had to replace it, and still in a good condition. Just today my Vivoactive got stock, I think is the IQ. Now I have to check it. : (. I highly recommend this Garmin.

Hi, I'm a golfer and us my Vivoactive for yardage data, my question is…How do I go from the golf mode, back to display current time without having to turn the device off and then turn it back on?
I'm looking to improve and track my cardiovascular health with the help of one of these watches, but before I commit to the purchase, I just want to be certain of one thing. Please, forgive me if this has been answered already or if the answer is obvious:
If I want to train in a specific HR zone and I fall below it or climb above it, will the watch instantly alert me? I once tried a watch and heart rate monitor combo that would beep whenever you weren't in the zone you designated for yourself. Do they all do that? As you all can probably tell, I don't have very much experience with these devices at all.

A bit behind the ball curve but thanks for the review. Needed something compatible with Android, waterproof and reasonably priced. Watched reviews including yours and settled on the Vivoactive. Just hope it holds up to the heat out here in the middle east! Cheers.

Just got a great deal on this watch since its now but out for a while. Loving it! Have not figured out how to make calendar function work. Over all I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. Would recommend.

there are many comments on Amazon that the display in dim lighting is unuseable. What did you think about reading the info on the watch face in dim lighting without using the backlight button?

in a real honest opinion, is the vivoactive hr any better than this one, besides this one not having a hr monitor? because i bought this one for 150$ today and the hr was 250$ so i got this one instead bc i didnt have 250 and mostly only care about the activites and sleep tracking, so for 100$ i sacrificed the hr monitor.

I need your help, I have vivosmart and I don't like it, which will you recommend if my sport is Indoor Spinning and Road Cycling, I do have a chest strap. I had a hard time trying to edit my activity with vivosmart, it didn't allow me to edit distance, and it never gave me average speed, even though I set it up with all the information needed, bike wheels etc. please help……thanks
