Hi Chad, I've been suffering with subacromial bursitis in my shoulder from last 10 months. I've been doing all sort of stretching exercises, but not ones you are recommending here. I have even rested my shoulder for 4 months but at no avail. Do you think these exercises would help with my bursitis. your reply would be highly appreciated.

I like the trial-error procedure described to pinpoint your specific problem and find the correct solution. Many physiotherapists talk about generic shoulder problems and generic solutions that don’t work in many cases.

Here's the deal. Exercises are helpful but I don't care how many you do the problem will not get fixed short term or long. Keep working on your flexibility to try and live with but it is not going away.

My pain is more on the side of the shouder where the arm meets the shoulder. I tried the 3 movements and 1 was a bit uncofortable, 2 I could not move at all, 3 was a bit painful. I'll look through your channel to see if I find something that matches my area of pain – Thanks!

At 4:50 your saying: "… You do NOT bend the albow, cause we're not doing any internal rotation there, we're just doing albow-flexion". Then you grab the belt, throw it over your shoulder, and flex your albow. Seems rather contradicting?
I have this pain in my right shoulder, from bench pressing, but it won't seem to go away – would you recommend doing those excersices or should I focus on more anterior excersices?

I hope very much that you see my blog. I had a pain in my shoulder. Did physio and used all sorts and ways to sort my shoulder out eventually I could not stand the pain any long. I was diagnosed with cancer of the bone. So people be careful.

Going to try soon. I got a pain when internally rotating my right arm. It means I can't reach between my shoulders, I can barely reach above the waist.

Wow. OK, I've been searching videos all day for "shoulder pain" and "shoulder impingement." I had a bit of success with some self-applied Active Release techniques, but the techniques in this video showed an almost immediate improvement, and I look forward to repeating these for the next several days. Ex.#1 provided minor, but noticeable, near-instant improvement. Ex. #2 I couldn't even do, AT ALL, the first time I tried it. Just a sharp, debilitating pain, and I thought, "No way can I do this one." But after a few gentle attempts, something unlocked and I gained a serious increase in movement. Ex. #3 I'm already familiar with, but the first two techniques were new to me, and no doubt are providing a significant benefit. Thank you for this. I hope it's as encouraging to others as it was for me.
