Use plastic staples. They're easier to drive in. And you can't drive them in to far.

At 3:45 you said it was the last light in a circuit. But at 1:23 you are showing connecting two pairs of black, white, and ground wires. If it the last light in the circuit then how could it have two romex pairs of wire? The end of the run should have only one Romex pair right because it terminates in the last light. What am I missing?

How much was the permit? The permits can be expensive where I live. For a job like this the permit would be about $100.00 and the lights would be about $800.00.

Is it important which holes of the stab lock connecter is populated with wire?  And is it distinct for black, white, or green?  Meaning I saw that holes 1,2, and 4 of the black stab connecter had wires inserted but we could not see which pattern was used for the other colors.  Are they the same (1,2,4)?

Hi, nice work, I'm planning to install 6 units on my basement but wondering if ONE 120 brake will feed all 6 lights without problems, also I was told to use 12 wire instead of 14-2 , what do you recommend me? Thanks Thanks a lot

Yes you can use the hot wire inside the attic switch box to "jump" a hot wore to your can lights switch box and use this Hot wire to power you recessed lights.

"remove the drywall where all the lights will be located and do it the way we did in this video."
But in this video there is no drywall on ceiling at all. Is there a video where you install the drywall after the cans are mounted?

Hello there, I had one question.  In this video, you have the dry wall removed.  Howerver, if there is a drywall installed in place, and if you are installing new recessed lights, where wires are not present at the start, then how do you run wires through the studs?  The drill might be able to drill a hole through a stud that is immediately close to a can, but then how do you extend the wires through say 3 or 4 studs till you reach the next can?  Do you cut out the dry wall for this, or is there any other method to run the wires from behind the dry walls?

What if one of the wires are damaged, and you discover it after you close the wall ?
You got your self a problem when you need to pull over new ones again…. ( you should use pvc pipes or something alike on hidden constuction to make it easier and protect the wires). And not to mention the lights in the roof…. i cant see any boxes. That overheating to the isolation may cause fire in future.
In my country your installasion method is illegal in the way you are preforming it.
i dont know the rules in your country for electrical installasions, but it dont seems right for safety
