I'm not sure I got you well. Are you saying one can connect additional wireless subwoofer to the bar? I'm aware of additional wired subwoofer connection but not wireless. Please clarify this.
I am still Happy with my Yamaha YSP5600 soundbar projector, eying on this Klipsch 1200 for sometime, but How does it manage without side firing speakers?
Question:
Klipsch website lists Dolby Vision decode as a feature.
If the soundbar is decoding Dolby Vision and passing the decoded signal onto a TV that doesn't have a Dolby Vision decoder (Samsung) will it now be able to display the image in Dolby Vision?
Thank for this review. Still researching Sony HT-A700, Sennheiser Ambeo.
It looks bad ass. Purchased a Vizio elevate and was highly disappointed. Thinking of getting this. Any thoughts?
hey can i use the 1200 in my bedroom
But in this not have DTS x
Thanks for reading out the specs… could not have asked for a “better review”, actually your video thumbnail reflects how “good a review” this is…
great presentation- you covered nearly everything i wanted to know..with the samsung 950a now at $900 ….it's satellites have 3 way directional instead of klipsch 2 way.My room setting is also a challenge : its a medium large bedroom rectangular with the long side running sideways and recessed ceilings, with 55 inch tv( LG b7)wall mounted with extension forward(this allows me to view TV from the bed or angle it 45 degrees so i can view from the adjacent sofa and chaise on one side or the bath from the other side, heavy drapes/curtains behind and either side of the tv.the backwall behind listener is mostly blocked by the triple unit wardrobe).so the listening area is wide and i was curious to know how things sounded when not directly in front of the soundbar…your'e clear explanation of the sound bubble really helped me to understand the dynamics better.i'm wondering if i would be better off getting a soundbar with one sub, 2 fronts 2 sides and 2 backs- all wireless. i've been lookin at bose 700,950a,sonos,hk enchant and klipsch..dont want to pay ambeo or Lifestyle prices, but aesthetics is important..still undecided.
Well I just got my soundbar today. For 1800 bucks I did expect more. Missing highs and mids. Good bass. Sounds flat to me. I have a Yamaha RX-A750 AVENTAGE Network AV Receiver and a Yamaha 12 inch Sub and it don't come close.
I would thought it would have more highs.
The whole system sounds flat. set dialog to a 2 but still not enough highs.
In a drum solo the snare drum is missing.
for $1800 it should have on screen and and tone control.
sub looks to be made of 3/8 plywood and my Yamaha 12s are made of 3/4 wood.
I had a feeling those little speakers had no punch to them.
Can you use the LG Smart Remote (that comes with their OLEDs) to control the sound bar as well?
Ya but can it play Crysis?
it doesn't pass 120 HZ
Does it have on screen controls?
I have the cinema 600…could not afford the cinema 1200, but I am already now saving up for the 1200…lol,
Would you buy this bar or the bose 700 series with 700 sub?
I got my Klipsch 800WATT, highly recommended no regrets. 🔊🎶👍🏼
Thank you for the review! Is is possible to wall mount the surrounds?
sonos setup is still better lmao
Bla bla bla bla bla no demo nothing just bla bla bla
I hope this finds you well. Great review as always. I waited for the Klipsch Cinema 1200 but they kept pushing it back; I got tired of waiting and bought JBL 9.1 two months ago.
Question, is the Cinema 1200 better than the JBL 9.1? If yes, is it by much?
Also, when it finally comes to South Africa, should I trade-in my JBL for this?
Now they just need to ship mine 🕑
Is there anything you don't like about it.
I am still happy with my JBL Bar 9.1! And even more affordable than the new Sony HT-A7000.
Hey, how do you think this bar compares to the samsung q950a soundbar and is it really worth the extra money over the samsung
He should play some test audio 😭
Nothing is perfect. As an objective reviewer you should also include it's faults and or shortcomings. Even if the manufacturer paid you.
need an actual review instead of a sales video of someone trying to sell this product…
Klipsch is trash
Hi, I have a question does the Atmos sound coming down from the top really obvious from the up-firing speakers?
Not sure I'd call this a review but more of a product explanation. Andrew Robinson's review of this that came out today. You should probably watch it if you really considering this.
Resident Evil Infinite Darkness on Netflix uses the upward firing speakers well on soundbars. I don’t think it is Dolby Atmos but the second episode has a bit where a helicopter flies over a warzone and it is very convincing making it sound like it is above you. So that’s another show worth testing out on your soundbar or surround system on.
This or the Samsung Q950A?
i can afford a 4k blue ray player . but im not buying one just to have to by all new movies , just for the dolby atmos since i have a dolby atmos sound bar . and netflix dont support much atmos yet . same for youtube , whitch will never have support for atmos .
just another nice piece of tech for the RICH! Nothing Special with it.
Was waiting years for this to finally come out, but when it continually got delayed, I jumped on the Nakamichi 9.2.4 and the system is simply incredible and LOUD. Had a Klipsch for 4 years prior to the upgrade, an RSB-14 and it always had rich sound.
