Thanks for posting such a great videos. I need help with the issue I'm having with my computer. My computer turns on but show no video. I know for sure it's a hardware problem since it's doesn't beep and no POST. I can see the chassis and cpu fan running along with green light turn on the motherboard. Reset the jumper, clear the cmos, removed all the RAMs and tried all of them one by one, don't see any capacitors out of shape, leaking or bulging. Power supply is good, checked with the tester, I did all I could by isolating each and everything. So, now it all comes down either a bad motherboard or CPU is bad. I didn't have a proper way to check any of these as I don't have any extra motherboard or cpu. I put my hand infront of cpu fan to check if it blows hot, but it didn't. I think something happened with the motherboard but I don't know exactly what and what circuit is causing the short circuit. Is there a way you could help me further troubleshooting? Thanks

hello sir, is it more accurate when testing transistor by leaving the processor on the socket ? Or it is just the same with or without the processor in the socket ?

My screen was getting pixilated and distorted with lines and colors, and I figured it was my graphics card messing up, so I went ahead and just ordered a new Logic Board. If you could respond back to me as soon as you can, it will be EXTREMELY appreciated. Thank you Sir!

Hello Sir! I am awaiting a new motherboard for my 06, 17" iMac and I was wondering…if I had to switch out my old CPU and replace it on the new motherboard, or will the brand new complete motherboard work just fine. I've seen a tutorial video on which they switched out the old CPU and placed it on the replacement. So I was wondering if this was absolutely necessary? I saw your vid, and seen you've responded to some of your viewers, so I thought I'd try and ask for your helpful insight.

your expertise are  absolute, by the way I have a desktop, i repair laptop and do services on it, and my desktop won't turn on, so i decided to give it a try if i could also fix laptop, but before that , i keep researching on some stuff that would help me out, my problem is the system won't boot up and doesn't log in on bios,

i do the bread boarding technique by removing it from the case and put it on a non conductor material for instance a piece of cartoon in top of a wooden table,

after that it still doesn't turn on, and there's no beeping coming up,

the parts are all good as i buy them brand new , and this cpu desktop never have issue until now,

i cant really locate where the problem is, but there's definitely no sign of short circuit or something,

my problem is just it doesn't start up there's no screen display, but the power supply is good the led is good, still it doesn't turn on, if you could help me out, it would be pretty awesome>

    greetings from philippines
