    Thanks for this video, made the disassembly much easier ! What a video show more than the disassembly guide is the gesture/the movement you use to unplug stuff.
    A few tips for other beginner that might pass:
    – Battery can be hard to remove, help yourself with a used credit card to help unglue and give a more gentle push upward.
    – Use a rubber glove to remove the LVDS cable for better adherence.
    – Take photo before every step, will be helpful to see how it was assembled before, especially if you have a slightly different model (like me).
    – LVDS plug is hard to plug in, having a close up, inclined photo of it, before unplugging, will help you confirm you have plugged it correctly (I had it clipped on one side only for a moment).
    – Take note of which cable goes on where on the network card (for me, one cable had a red marker).
    – Look at the order you need to assemble your GPU and CPU thermal dissipater, for me, GPU had to go first, and once CPU dissipater was positioned I could tighten the last screw on the GPU.
    – Cleanup with pressured air the fan and thermal dissipater, you won't get a better chance.
    – Ah, and ofc, do not forget to take measure before, and after, otherwise you won't know if you haven't made it worse ;).
    As for the results:
    Startup+5min: CPU 43 -> 40
    Minecraft: CPU 70 -> 54 GPU 60 -> 57-54
    Sky rogue demo: CPU 69-70 -> 60 GPU 66-70 -> 60
    Game of the year: CPU 66 -> 52 GPU 62 -> 54
    Edit: Seem like the battery was not correctly plugged in, take a photo before unplugging it, or put some kind of marker.

    I need to replace the battery in mine. Is it really as simple as removing the back and 2 clips?

    I hope someone sees this..
    I'm trying to replace my cpu fan. The one on the top right of this video. I remove the 3 or 4 screws from the bottom and it doesn't come off. I figured it should be extremely simple to swap out the fan but it doesn't budge. Any idea on what I do? So I have to tear down the whole laptop like in the video and undo something? I sure hope not.

    Thanks for this. I opened up my laptop to clean out the fans but was completely lost. I can't believe there's no way to get to fans or RAM without completely removing the motherboard. And the battery adhesive was so strong that I was worried I was gonna break something. Really frustrating design, but it was made manageable with your video.

    Thank you for this very necessary video. The cable above the battery cable got loose and that caused the laptop to not boot but i disconnected it and reinserted it and voila, now it works.

    Hello, my battery stopped working and I don't want to pay 355โ‚ฌ for the repair.

    I found on ipc-computer a new one, 100โ‚ฌ.

    But do you recommend doing this by myself, even if I aint got this much knowledge? It seems very easy in your Video ๐Ÿ™‚
