    I have the older version of this, or at least I think it is, it's a Satellite 300CDT, absolutely love it. It has a USB port as well. I think it uses the same battery, which I believe they used for several models. I can get them for around £10 here in the UK. The power input is actually 15V too 🙂
    On mine someone put Windows ME on it, I'm trying to find a copy of Windows 98 for it and I think I might have found one so that should be good. It was designed for Windows 95 but should work great with 98. I'm amazed the battery still holds a charge, but I expect it was mainly used while plugged in. Really cool old laptop and I love it!!
