What if they are at $350 on Costco. At that price is still a good buy?
Mine came with the 10", 300w peak front-firing sub. The sub can over-power the speakers, but some tuning on frequency ranges to carry what the speakers shouldn't be pushed hard to do, and leveling out sub/speaker crossover to be friendly to the speakers has allowed me to push more power, whilst keeping the sound crisp has worked well with my Onkyo TX-NR818. I have set a volume limiter on the amplifier to protect the speakers as well, as this particular amp can push about 180w into these 8 Ohm. Speakers. I found these speaker aren't overly sensitive, but the tight suspension, and undistorted sound reproduction trade-off is an exception. It took me a break-in period, and a lot of careful equalizer tuning to get these speakers sounding sweet, and matching the sub as mentioned. For music they are great, and for movies, ok if you don't want too much low frequency annoying people across the street. Two packs will give a nice 9.2 setup, and for better powerful, and room balance kick in bass reproduction, I am driving two subs (always have.) These satellite speakers I have mounted to cheap DJ tripods with straight bolts cut to size. They are 50w nominal power, and 200w peak. Any good amplifier will drive them, but overkill is recommended to retain headway for lower THD levels.
Costs 449 at Costco
Can it best compatible with Yamaha rxv585 and denon x1500 h
This is less of a review and more like an advertisement.

These look just like the Klipsch Quintet V speaker set, except for the copper woofer – how much better are these Reference Theater ones?
I'm surprised that any speakers sound good in that room.
Can someone compare this one to Elac Cinema 5/ Cinema 10?
