Why I don’t use Apple goods

Why I don’t use Apple goods

Tongue in cheek clarification why I don’t use Apple iphone/Macbook in spite of fixing them for a living.

This does not suggest that you need to not use Apple goods, nor does this suggest there is one “best.” What is Finest for you is what YOU LIKE and what YOU are productive with!

I remedy this dilemma due to the fact I am generally asked why I have a Lenovo notebook with Gentoo or Home windows and a Samsung Android cellphone when I get the job done on fixing Apple goods for a living.

if you want to view as we fix Apple logic boards at part degree, you can see that get the job done in this article. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?record=PLkVbIsAWN2lsHdY7ldAAgtJug50pRNQv0

I had that same feeling when I got my hands on my first (and current) iphone 5c (in my defence I didn't buy it from the retailer for full price).

Well, it was designed to be user-friendly, for people with deep aversion to learning user interfaces, but I guess I'm not that one user…

On the bright side, you slowly get used (just as you would do anywhere, I guess) to most of the quirks. Some of them are nasty, while others I had actually found useful. It also runs smooth and steady from scratch, it has better optimization, it isn't a resource hog like what android is infamous for (don't know how far that's justified today). Appstore is also superior in user experience to GooglePlay. When I update, I'd probably go for a Xiaomi phone.

Never ever used a mac so I wouldn't try to guess how much of a clusterfuck would it be to use and do basic maintenance like on a pc. Hopefully I'd never ever need to.

freedom of speech at it's best but stay clear of Apple's wrath. i fix computers, build PCs, and fix LCDs i have macbook pro it's good and alienware pc but i mosly love using my Alienware R2 $650 but upgrading ram and ssd makes any computer more enjoyable. Can you explain why on a windows PC its safe to unplug removable drive but on Macbook you have to eject it or else it will destroy it????

Actually… You can copy & paste on an iPhone. Just hold down your finger on the text you want to copy, the text becomes highlighted, a menu appears, select copy, and you're done.

Every time I (try to) add music onto my iPod nano, I pretty much consider just killing myself.

(I only got an iPod nano as it was the only standalone mp3 player that had Bluetooth.)

I bought iPod few years ago, since it was pretty much the only mp3-player with enough space for adequate cost in the market. There aren't as many mp3 players since everyone uses their phones for that. I wanted them separate.

I've yet to own as flimsy piece of hardware as that iPod. It syncs automatically even when you disable it, it freezes itunes every time iPod is connected to the PC, around every 3rd time choosing a song to listen will freeze the device's controls until the screen is black again, sometimes on the disconnect the device just freezes completely and needs to be hard booted, 2 or 3 times it has just WIPED THE ENTIRE LIBRARY and I've had to fill it again. Oh, and no FLAC support. It's a fucking nightmare.

We have been using Apple products past 6 years in my family(3 Macbooks are all dead —less than 4 years old ) and my 2011 iMac is dead! We have used 10 i phones among 5 family members . All breaking here and there. Time to graduate from Apple all together. I would short Apple stocks.

Same here, I don't mind a Chinese import, as long it makes my life easier. As far as Macs is concerned, it's for hippies, and I would never recommend it! Btw, I don't know how to use a Mac, I guess the Apple plan failed :-p

stating why you don't use a product is not something that makes your life any better. If fact I limits your audience esp when apple is not about products it is about lifestyle.

Why I still use my apple? because it is dirt cheap and runs on 1Gig of ram that otherwise requires a pC with 4-32gigs of ram.

Why I do not advise people to use apple products? They break and it over wrote on my usb file.

I've used Windows OS on my computer, had an apple ipod 3rd gen and then used a Iphone 4. Thing I hated about Apple's products is the need of Itunes to put movies, music or photos.

Then I switched over to Android (Samsung Galaxy S7 FTW) and well, I am greatly enjoying the things I can do (Don't need itunes btw). Can't wait to get a 200GB SD micro to expand my phones storage.

I am interested into Linux but what is the best version/kernel with customisibility.

It just means you don't understand how software works. Apple is only doing something different compared to what is done on Windows. If you've used OSX your whole life, then Windows seems like a difficult to use and shitty OS.
