    It’s not 7.1 it’s 5.1. There was a upgrade you could get done to it to make it do that. That why the 3090 come out with the 7.1 which is like the 2070 but is 7.1 for AC3 as we called it back then to use on laserdisc. The Yamaha 2070 is a good powerhouse of an amp and still beats the shit out of today amp because of its low noise THD it’s called.

    I have the A3090. I haven't figured out how to adjust LFE crossover. Does it have a digital crossover ?

    I purchased one of these 22 years ago. Until recently, it was working just perfectly. Then, all of a sudden, the device shuts itself off without any forewarning. I pressed the "on" button again and after a few minutes, it shuts itself off again. Can this be repaired? I wonder what the source of the problem is . . . I have sent it to the official Yamaha repair center twice but they cannot seem to repair it.
